I may have…

2 double blisters on both of my pinky toes, my little toe right next to my big toe on my left foot feels like it got run over by a car, I look like a 99-year-old trying to walk, and stairs are most definitely my enemy today, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I learned SO MUCH yesterday that I can’t wait to share with you all later this week. In the end, I ran stronger than I ever have in my life yesterday on so many different levels (both physically and mentally). A PR was within my grasp, and I purposely threw it away at mile 10 (more on this in the recap), but just know that I came in only 3 minutes and 3 seconds slower than I did in Fargo, and that, my friends, is ASTOUNDING.

While I am definitely feeling the after-effects of running a distance I wasn’t fully trained for today, I would not change a single thing. I am THRILLED.

Full recap to follow…
