Oh what to do? What to do!?!?!?

Stay home and do my cardio work out program for 60 minutes tomorrow?

Then hang out with my fabulous husband on date night??

OR…

Go to the gym, hit the dumb elliptical and bike for cross training?

THEN go out with my fabulous husband on date night?

I read some articles in Runner’s World and a few other places this week how runners are not supposed to substitute elliptical usage for running as it’s not the same thing. There was more to it, blahbitty blah blah blah, something about elliptical should really be used at the bare minimum, only for cross-training or if you’re injured.

And ya’ll know how much I HATE the elliptical. So I’m trying to use this article I read as grounds for me to stay home and do my cardio workout in front of my TV with my new weights.

Can you tell?

So what shall I do?

Gearing up for my 4-mile run tonight. Yes, I’m going to do it. And I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. Kill me now.

Also looking forward to my 6-mile long run on Sunday. I’ve only ever run 6 miles once before. Kinda looking forward to the challenge…and the fact that I’ll be shoveling some pasta down my throat Saturday night in prep.

Love me some pasta!

So really…what should I do Saturday morning?
